FAQ

For online classes, payments are made by credit card or paypal before the class.  For students living in Japan, payments can be made by bank to bank transfer. Please contact me for this option.

How are payments made?

We will discuss your goals and what you would like to focus on during the lesson. We will check your level and choose the study materials. We can schedule the first lesson according to the students desire. Finally, I will answer any of your questions.

What will we do during the free consultation?

After a lesson or a package is purchased you will have access to your student account on this website. My schedule and open time slots will be available. You can then book your lesson at your convenience. The schedule allows lessons to be booked up to 24 hours in advance. The schedule changes the timezone automatically.

Yes, I welcome students of all levels and experience.

You don’t have to have a textbook to start taking my lessons. During the consultation we will discuss what materials we can use.

Do I need a textbook?

Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty up to 24 hours before the lesson. Cancellations or reschedules made after 24 hours will be charged the full price.

Are there discount packages available?

Lessons are done through zoom, it a free video calling platform with screen share capabilities. Skype is used as a backup. I recommend taking classes on a computer. Smart phones are not recommended because the screen size is too small to read some of the materials presented on screen share.

Yes, there are discounts for buying 10, 20, or 30 lesson packages. The 10-lesson package has a 20-week expiration, the 20-lesson package has a 40-week expiration, and the 30-lesson package has a 1-year expiration.
